Janice D. Testimony

This winter camp meeting has been the most amazing time! Very busy yet so full of God!  He is bringing His people together to be one in The Holy Spirit!  It is almost like we are in melting pot of fire! Each day was so different and powerful, of course, God knows what He is doing and wanting to bring to pass at the River.  It is as though the River is the ‘epicenter’ of the shaking that is taking place not just in America but around the globe, just like an earthquake shakes the earth, this move of God is beginning to shake the churches and shake this nation!

All that is not of God and His Kingdom will fall, it cannot stand!  To see people coming alive to God is the most wonderful thing! To see the church, ‘the sleeping giant’ waking up is great but about time! Complacency, comfort zones and our worldly tendencies have to go for all of those choosing the narrow path we are to walk daily!  My favorite time of the meetings was as we sang Holy Holy Holy! God’s tangible presence and His Holiness was manifest! Holiness is so needed back in the Body of Christ!  I believe this move of The Holy Spirit will continue, gather momentum and will eventually usher in Jesus return!  So it is the beginning of the end of the beginning!  -Janice D.

I got to the end of the prayer and I said, “Let’s recite together as we always do, the Lord’s Prayer”.

Nicole M. Testimony

Ever since the start of the New Year I have been challenging myself to go deeper and be more intimate with the Lord. I wanted this year to be different and really make it mean something. I made a vow to God that I didn’t want to hurt Him anymore and that I would fully devote myself to Him. It has been a major blessing and honor to serve and sit in these meetings that we are having. The vision of the Great Awakening Tour is something that is changing the lives of millions of people. To think that I am a part of this history is mind blowing! I have made it a point to sit in at least two meetings as well as serve in two meetings. God laid it on my heart to be a part of the call center which has been a truly humbling experience.

The effect that these meetings are having on people all around the world is crazy to think about because so many people who did not know about soul winning are now jumping on board and telling everyone they can find about Jesus! I am so glad that I did begin to challenge myself and go deeper and not be complacent because I do not want to be left behind on what is happening right now! I encourage everyone to join in on this, watch us LIVE on CTN every night at 7:30pm and then again at 11:30pm and get INVOLVED! Don’t be left behind while everyone else around you moves forward in the things of God! Walk in your calling and purpose of God and start populating Heaven!! –Nicole M.

I wrote out the Lord’s Prayer because I was not going to mess up my first big assignment. -.

Hannah P. Testimony

The other day, I was on the phone during evening broadcast and I was amazed at some of the prayer request that came in. One gentleman wanted prayer for his dog that was hit in the mouth and needed stitches. Another man wanted his friend to return his phone calls. After I prayed for both requests, I hung up the phone, wondering what kind of call I would get next! It was not long before the phone rang again. I answered, and on the other line was a Jamaican lady who desperately wanted prayer for her marriage. She said her husband met up with his high school sweetheart who he had not seen in twenty years. He said they were just friends, but he now is sending her presents and calling her every night. This broken woman poured out her broken heart to me and cried as she told me her story. I prayed against the attack of the devil that was coming at her marriage and family.

Then I prayed for peace and joy fill her and her family. As the joy of the Lord started to bubble out of her, she started laughing uncontrollably. We both laughed and thanked God for the work that He was doing in her marriage. After that phone call, I viewed the phone ministry in a whole new way. People call in who are literally on the verge of life or death. They are depending on my prayers to bring them through and help them. There is a real seriousness and responsibility that comes with the phone ministry and it is a privilege to be able to help in that area. –Hannah P.

I read these prayers and so I wrote out a prayer using the King’s English, a very high priestly prayer, “thee”s and “thou”s and “shalf’s and I had everything grammatically correct.

Shawnalee F. Testimony

This week I have been sitting in Great awakening services. I am getting hungrier then I have ever been while in these services. The fire has been burning out the junk in my life as I yield to the Holy Spirit. I have gotten more on fire to see those who do not have Jesus in their heart accept Christ.

So out on the streets I went and led young people outside a high school to Jesus. I was given a boldness to speak to groups of young people.  This is the first time I have been able to talk to more than one person at a time. I got to see these young people come to the Lord.

While I was talking to a young lady, a woman who had gotten out of her car, came walking toward me. When I was finished talking to the girl, this woman hugged me. She wanted to commend us for being out here telling these kids about Jesus Christ. She stated that there are way too many graves in the grave yard, housing the bodies of young people who died, not knowing about Jesus Christ. Her statement is reality and not just for the young, but for all of those who do not have someone to tell them that God loves each of them ,before their lives come to an end. I want to be a part of bringing this message to those who are lost and dying out there. I am changed and I want to show others the freedom of a life in Christ. Thank you Jesus -Shawnalee F.

That’s the main prayer of the particular service and they said, “Yes, we would like for you to do it”.

The presence of God is so strong

The services have been absolutely amazing! The presence of God is so strong. I had the privilege of serving in the call center. So many people called that were hungry for more of God.  A 20 year old youth named Mason called for the fire of God and I asked him “how are you feeling” and he said “I’m stuck to the couch and can’t get up and I feel the presence of God all over me” then he also got filled with the joy of the Lord. A lady called in who was suffering from depression and addicted to her medication she got filled with the baptism in the Holy Ghost and the joy of the Lord. Another lady called because she was believing for a financial breakthrough and needed a job. I prayed for her and then asked if she needed prayer for anything else. She said she needed healing because she has been in a wheelchair for 2 years. I read her scriptures on healing and prayed for her. She began to walk and was healed by the power of God in the mighty name of Jesus! Hallelujah! People are getting saved, baptized in the Holy Ghost, healed, delivered, and set ablaze.  God is moving in the services and also in the call center. If you need a touch from God call the phone number on the screen. -Jacky K.

So I bowed my head and thousands of people began to repeat with me…Our Father, (our father), who art in heaven (who art in heaven), then I went blank.

Revival Ministries International

I just want to say that I am proud to be at the River Church and to be a part of what God is doing in and through Revival Ministries International! This church and ministry are ministries of integrity and utmost excellence. That being said, I would like to share with you what God has impressed on my heart since the beginning of the Great Awakening services at the River, that now more than ever is the time for God’s people to turn to Him and seek His face in prayer. Every great move of God throughout history has been preceded  with a great movement of prayer. I am reminded of 2 Chronicles 7:14 where God says if His people which are called by His name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek His face that He will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land. I believe the sin of the church in this hour is the lack of seeking His face! We seek His hand, what He can do for us but we don’t seek His face and find out how He views things or even what He is looking at. We know it is His will to heal our land, He makes it very plain in the above mentioned scripture that it is His will! He is just waiting on us, His people, to lay aside all the junk that keeps us out of the prayer closet and get busy with the business of prayer! America and the world are battered and bruised, in need of healing! It is going to take praying saints and a praying church, the whole church, if we are going to see God move in the measure that is needed in our country and in our world! Now I will go and pray! Will you? – Tildon W

Now the pastoral prayer in this church, was a longer type prayer and at the end of this prayer, the pastor who was giving the prayer would recite the Lord’s Prayer with the congregation.

Rodney & Adonica, thank you so much for the obedient step of faith that you have and are taking by airing The Great Awakening every night! I have watched as much as possible and Holy Spirit has been doing a new thing in my heart and life! Even though we have always made room for Holy Spirit in our personal lives and in our church, Church in the City and have always preached about winning souls I must sadly admit that I have NOT been the #1 soul winner in our church. Oh, I led people to the Lord at our altars and I would always “let my Light shine” when I was out in public but I never was brave or bold enough to ask the BIG question.

The question that really mattered. This past month we have had prayer twice a day @ CITC and the Lord is doing some amazing things. The most amazing thing is what He is and has been doing in ME! Hearing all the glorious testimonies on your program from those that got saved out on the streets has “opened the eyes of my understanding” and created a desire in me for souls like I have NEVER had in the almost 40 yr we have been in full time ministry. Believe me, this is not something I am proud of! Sitting there in prayer every night I had this conviction that I had to do more than just pray! I knew that just like Jesus when I left that place of prayer, I had to GO YE and tell of His Love and do my part to get people into the Kingdom! I got out my soul winning script and put it my purse so I will have it at all times so I can take advantage of the opportunities that the Lord brings my way.

This same “epiphany” is happening in Mike as well. I KNOW that what happens in the head flows down to the body so this year is going to be a year of Harvest for us @ CITC! We are getting ourselves organized now for the outreach that we are embarking on. I am more excited about who I am In Christ and what He has called me to do than ever before. God is building His Church and His Kingdom and I am humbled and blessed to do my part! I love you guys more than you know and we plan to get down there in the coming days.

Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, we will eat to win,  water and vegetables and you guys can eat what you want to, this rich, fat-saturated diet.

The Goodness Of God – Part 6

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

The Lord is good!

“Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!” Psalms 31:19 NKJV

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” Psalms 23:1-6 NKJV

Expect His goodness

“[What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living! 14 Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.” Psalms 27:13-14 AMP

David makes this exclamation: “What, what would have become of me, had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living?” In other words, “Because I trusted in God’s goodness I experienced it. I couldn’t have made it without Him! You need to expect Him too and He will take care of you!” God wants us to know how much He loves us and He wants to show us how good He really is. We need to get a revelation of His goodness – we need to expect His goodness.

Express gratitude

“Blessed is the man You choose, And cause to approach You, That he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Of Your holy temple. 5 By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation, You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the far-off seas.” Psalms 65:4-5 NKJV

Deuteronomy 28:47 (AMP) says that all these curses shall come upon you, “Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joyfulness of [mind and] heart [in gratitude] for the abundance of all [with which He had blessed you].”  Many of God’s people are not blessed – they are cursed – because they do not acknowledge God’s goodness toward them; they do not recognize that all their blessings have come from Him; they don’t appreciate what they already have and what He has already done; they are not satisfied with His goodness. They either take God for granted, or they think that He has not done enough for them, or they take the credit for the blessing. They walk on dangerous ground. God makes it very clear that He is the source of our blessing and it is vitally important that we serve Him with joy and gratitude.

Praise God for His goodness

“Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! 2 Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. 3 Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.” Psalms 100:1-5 NKJV

“I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord And the praises of the Lord, According to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, According to the multitude of His lovingkindness.” Isaiah 63:7 NKJV

Because He is good – we can be good

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-24 NKJV

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.” Ephesians 5:8-11 NKJV

“Now I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.” Romans 15:14 NKJV

The fruit of the Holy Spirit is also the character of God. The Holy Spirit imparts God’s character to us so that we can be like Him here on the earth. We are to demonstrate God’s goodness here to the world. We are to tell them and show them how good God is!

I just said, “For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen”. I closed my Bible and I felt so bad, I walked from the pulpit (it seemed like 10 miles) down the steps and I was supposed to sit on the front row.

Ministers Conference 2010 – Boris L. Testimony

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

Minister’s Conference was a whole new experience for me. Never have I been in a environment where minster’s and leaders where the ones actually receiving. I am not used to seeing pastors and leaders being prayed for or being trained. The entire special guest had such powerful messages that shouldn’t be applied just to pastors or leaders, but to any believer as well.

The word of God speaks very powerfully when it comes to the topic of tithing. It taught so much about just putting our faith on the line. It stretched us so much in our faith in God and to actually realize what it is to “press in”. The Lord has called on many but few have chosen to actually follow. Great wonders and signs come through the believer. As ministers and pastors, so many points where covered on how a church should tithe, be a blessing to others, the “do’s and don’ts”.

Spreading the gospel should be the primary commandment a believer should follow and especially as a leader or pastor. To stretch out your blessings, to sow to a higher lever so you can blessed in return. Ministers Conference was a life changing experience in our eyes. Especially for the students who are called to full time ministry. To acquire knowledge of things that may come once we become preaches, pastors, or leaders. The lord wants us to follow his voice and be guided by the spirit even through the struggles. Ministers Conference affected my life positively as the anointing and presence of God filled us each night!!!!

Minister’s Conference 2010 – Karen C. Testimony

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

I am totally overjoyed at all that God has done in the Ministers Conference 2010! My faith has been completely transformed and raised to another level from this conference. I pressed in to receive all that God had for me and I am so grateful that the Holy Spirit increased my strength to plug in to Helps ministry of hospitality and worship, while even working 25 hours at my job. I knew that the JOY of the Lord was my strength and I stood on Psalm 91:1. I received more than enough rest for my soul. There were nights, even after midnight that I was not tired and my husband and I just rested under the anointing. We wanted more! We could see the vision God had for us! Singing in the No Limits Choir for our conference theme song twice a day, really embedded the words of the song down into my spirit. I started to get it more and more and it was as if light bulbs were going off every day!

I believe that my husband and I are going to be blessed with a house! And we believe God for increase in every area of our lives! We believe God for increase in our finances, our health, our business, our family, our ministry, and our walk with the Lord. There are no boundaries. Pastor Rodney explained that the only boundaries that we have is our own lack of faith. So, that moved us to be able to start believing God for the supernatural! It even spoke to us about getting our finances in order and believing God for a business opportunity. We have many dreams and we look forward to following the call of God for our lives. No conformity, but only to follow His plan and His will, so that His kingdom is established here on earth. The speakers were all incredible and we took a lot of good notes. We want to be “warriors vs worriers”. We want to manifest the “glory and the power of God”. We want a “holy indignation”, “perseverance, authority, faith and might.” We want to be the representation of Jesus Christ as we are in His family, in His “bloodline”, sharing His “DNA”, created in His very image! No limits in our lives! But we will allow God to stretch forth, break forth, release us, and enlarge our territory!
